The top seed, who reached the final after overcoming a two-game deficit to beat Canada's Ian Power in the semi-finals, defeated Brazil's sixth seed Rafael Alarcon 11-15 15-11 15-7 15-13 in a match which lasted one hour and 23 minutes.
