England's Sarah Kippax fully justified her top seeding in the Women's Pepsi Enschede Squash Open when she beat second-seeded Dane Line Hansen in the final of the new WISPA World Tour event in the eastern Netherlands city of Enschede.

The 23-year-old from Chester had her sternest test in the quarter-finals, where she came up against qualifier Tenille Swartz, the 19-year-old South African national champion who was making her debut on the WISPA Tour.

Kippax fought back from a game down to survive 7-9, 9-5, 10-8, 10-8 – and then despatched Dagmar Vermeulen, the No8 seed from the Netherlands, 9-2, 9-1, 9-6 in the semi-finals.

In the other semi-final, Hansen ended Dutch interest in the event when she beat Margriet Huisman, the fifth seed who had earlier upset Belgium's Charlie de Rycke, the No4 seed, in four games.

But, in the final, Kippax conquered the 23-year-old from Odense 9-6, 9-7, 9-5 to register her maiden WISPA World Tour title triumph.
