Australia's Cameron Pilley and Malaysian Sharon Wee claimed the titles in the Berkshire Squash Open in Williamstown, Mass, USA.

Pilley, the third seed from New South Wales, made his breakthrough in the semi-finals when he upset second-seeded Canadian Shahier Razik 11-8, 11-6, 11-7 in 55 minutes.

Sixth seed Hisham Mohd Ashour, Pilley's opponent in the final, scored one of the best results of his career in the other semi-final after battling for 53 minutes to beat Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema, the event favourite, 4-11, 11-8, 2-11, 11-6, 11-5.

Pilley sensed victory in the final and beat Ashour 11-9, 11-5, 11-5 to notch up the tenth PSA Tour title of his career.

Sharon Wee reached the women's final without dropping a single game.  But her opponent Joshna Chinappa was enjoying one of her best WISPA World Tour runs, upsetting second seed Tricia Chuah in the quarters, then fifth seed Dianne Desira in the semis to claim an unexpected place in the climax as the eighth seed!

The Antwerp-based Wee, however, was too strong for 20-year-old Chinappa, from Chennai in India, winning 9-4, 9-0, 9-4 to earn her second successive WISPA crown, and the sixth of her career.
