Seeded four, India have only competed in the biennial event twice before, finishing in eighth place in their last appearance in 2001 in Malaysia. Fielding the same squad as in Penang, India took just 61 minutes to claim their semi-final place - after squad No2 Vaidehi Reddy beat USA's Claire Rein-Weston 9-2 9-5 9-4, then top string Joshna Chinappa overcame a first game loss to Lily Lorentzen to win 6-9 9-2 9-1 9-4. Tenth seeds USA gained a consolation point in the third and 'dead' rubber when Audrey Duboc beat India's No3 Supriya Balsekar 9-3 9-3. India will now face top seeds Egypt in the semi-finals after the hosts swept to a 3-0 win over 5th seeds Canada. The other semi-final will feature defending champions England, the No2 seeds, and third seeds Australia after both teams gained 3-0 quarter-final victories, over Malaysia and Hong Kong, respectively. With eight titles between them in the nine championships since 1985, the clash is sure to be an epic. Official website: www.worldjuniorwomenssquash.com/
