The 21-year-old from Puebla's 11-5 11-9 11-8 victory over the Frenchman takes Galvez on to meet second seed Tommy Berden. The Dutchman overcame England's fifth seed Phillip Barker 11-7 11-9 11-7 in 54 minutes. The other semi-final will feature two Englishman Peter Barker and Ben Garner. Top seed Barker was taken to five games by local hero Matthew Giuffre before beating the eighth seed 9-11 11-9 11-5 7-11 11-7 in 74 minutes, while Garner, the fourth seed, defeated France's seventh seed Jean-Michel Arcucci 8-11 11-1 11-9 4-11 11-4 in 61 minutes. |
