The KEAN Delft Open begins in less than 3 days with 16 international players representing 11 different countries including such nations as England, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland and Holland just to mention a few. This is world ranking event with a prize purse of $5000 up for grabs.
The local contingency comprises of some of Holland’s rising stars including Pedro Schweertman, Bart Travelli, Sebastion Weenink and Sander Van Tour. Two times finalist Steve Finitsis will hope to go one better by taking out the title in 2011. There is sure to be plenty of excitement and great squash. The PSA event begins Friday the 18th November with semi-finals and final on Saturday 19th November.
Along side the PSA event the recreational players will compete further in the KEAN Squash Tour 2011-2012. This includes an Italian buffet after the completion of the tournament along with many great prizes in a lottery for all participants. Prizes include such things as squash products, race planet vouchers and more. The main prize being a home air conditioner unit valued at 500 euro.
