Cairo teenager Mazen Hesham Ga Sabry became the latest Egyptian to claim his first PSA World Tour squash title when he lifted the SRAM NSC Series No3 trophy at the Bukit Jalil National Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The 17-year-old fourth seed made his breakthrough in the PSA Challenger 5 event's semi-finals when he upset second-seeded compatriot Karim Ali Fathi in five games - coming back from two games down to beat the higher-ranked 18-year-old 7-11, 3-11, 11-7, 11-6, 14-12.
His opponent in the final was third seed Alejandro Garbi Caro. The 28-year-old Spaniard was celebrating his first appearance in a Tour final since making his debut on the Tour in 2003.
The pair battled for 48 minutes before Sabry emerged triumphant 11-7, 8-11, 11-3, 11-4.
