Top-ranked Kuwaiti Abdullah Al Muzayen justified his seeding - and delighted the home crowd - when he beat third seed Mansoor Zaman in the final of the Kuwait Squash Federation Tournament to win the PSA World Tour Challenger 5 event in South Surrah, Kuwait.

The 23-year-old had already beaten two Pakistanis en-route to reaching the final - the ninth of his career - without dropping a game.

Zaman, a former Pakistan number one, clinched his surprise place in the final after overcoming Egyptian Zahed Mohamed in the semi-finals.

The 31-year-old from Peshawar was celebrating the 20th PSA Tour final of his career - but his first since the beginning of last year.

Al Muzayen battled against his fellow left-hander for 40 minutes - eventually emerging the winner after an 11-9, 11-9, 11-8 scoreline to mark up his second Tour title of the month, and the sixth of his career.
