The PSA today launches www.psaworldtour.com, a powerful new website to reflect the growing status of the men's professional squash tour.

The new site, designed by leading digital media company Perform, will provide a full range of regularly-updated information on the PSA World Tour - including results from current events; latest PSA news and image galleries; archive event results and data; the Tournament calendar; Dunlop PSA world rankings and Dunlop World Series standings; player stats, biographies and head-to-head data; details of past champions; general information about the PSA; contact details of all players' national federations; and details about the game of Squash including coaching, health and advice from the professionals.

"We are extremely excited about unveiling the PSA's new website," explained PSA CEO Alex Gough. "It was put on hold at the end of last year as we had back to back World Series events and we also had to focus our energies on our new TV output.

"With the new site we will be able to showcase all of our World Tour events and our amazing athletes in a much more professional way. It will help give a clearer understanding of professional squash and will be a great tool in our endeavours to continue to grow the whole sport.

"The men's game is in fantastic shape at the moment and we are looking forward to the second half of the year starting up again next month with the World Series Australian Open in Canberra.

"It is our aim to make the new site the first port of call for all followers of the men's game around the world, ultimately with major events inputting live scores as they happen directly from officials' new computer tablet scoring devices," added Gough.

The PSA has 500 members from 67 countries. The 2011 PSA World Tour - boasting an anticipated prize-fund of more than three million US dollars - is led by nine PSA World Series events, including the JP Morgan Tournament of Champions in New York, the North American Open in Virginia and the US Open in Philadelphia; the Australian Open in Canberra; the ROWE British Grand Prix in Manchester; the Qatar Classic in Doha; the Hong Kong Open; the Kuwait Open; and the Punj Lloyd PSA Masters in India.
