Top-seeded Mak, who has never before proceeded beyond the quarter-finals of a WISPA event, fought back from a game behind to defeat Denmark's fourth seed Line Hansen 8-10 9-2 9-3 9-4. In the other semi-final, second-seeded Pan American champion Teran celebrated her second WISPA final appearance in two months after beating Scotland's third seed Frania Gillen-Buchert 9-3 9-0 9-2.
