The two top seeds Aamir Atlas Khan and Farhan Mehboob - both nephews of the sport's legendary Jansher Khan - will contest the all-Pakistani final of the PSF-CAA Pakistan International Circuit No2 after swift straight games victories in today's (Thursday) semi-finals of the $12,000 PSA World Tour squash event at the Mushaf Squash Complex in the Pakistan capital Islamabad.
Favourite Aamir Atlas Khan, the world No22 from Peshawar, despatched fellow countryman Aqib Hanif 11-6, 11-5, 11-6 in just 22 minutes to reach the eighth Tour final of his career.
Second seed Farhan Mehboob - once ranked just two places behind his cousin in the top 20, but now languishing just inside the top 50 - faced his younger brother Waqar Mehboob for the first time on the professional Tour.
But the senior member of the family was too strong for Waqar, beating the 18-year-old 11-9, 11-8, 11-2 in 24 minutes.
Left-hander Farhan, winner of the Jena Real Estate Championship in Kuwait earlier this month, is now celebrating his seventh PSA final - and looking forward to his first Tour meeting with his cousin since the pair contested the Pakistan Open final in November 2008.
