Swiss squash star Nicolas Mueller has claimed his third PSA Tour title in a row after success in the Salzburg Open Satellite event in its fourth year at the Squash Club in Salzburg, Austria.
Seeded two, the 19-year-old from Hirzel, near Zurich, survived a tough quarter-final challenge against South African Gary Wheadon before reaching the final without conceding a further game.
Awaiting Mueller, a former European Junior Champion, was England's Tom Pashley, the 20-year-old top seed from Sussex who had reached his first Tour final without dropping a game.
But Mueller marched to victory, beating Pashley 11-8, 12-10, 11-2 to extend his unbeaten Tour run to 11 matches since winning the Russian Opportunities Fund Championship in Moscow in December and the NSC Series No1 championship in Malaysia last month.
