PAUL WALTERS LAUNCHES iSQUASHmarketing BUSINESS VENTURE Paul Walters, who established a reputation as an innovator in marketing and promotion during a highly successful seven year tenure with leading squash brand Dunlop, has announced the launch of a pioneering new company, iSQUASHmarketing, the World's first global company dedicated to the marketing and management of squash. Through its unique network of business divisions, iSQUASHmarketing will manage world-class events, iSQUASHevents, academies, iSQUASHacademy, print and web-based media, iSQUASHmedia, represent the World's leading players iSQUASHmanagement, and offer management consultancy on all marketing associated functions, including but not limited to; sponsorship evaluation and implementation, product development, sourcing and merchandising, strategic business planning, sales, event management, hospitality, and public relations. During his seven years with Dunlop, Walters arrested a decade of declining squash sales and profitability to transform the brand into a dynamic and innovative market leader, active in all corners of the globe, with its rackets and balls used by more and more players, from the elite professionals through to club players and beginners. In 2003, Dunlop boasted over 50% of the men's World top 50 professional players. A regular fixture at all the major junior and senior events around the World, supporting the Dunlop's ever expanding roster of players, Walters announced in August his intention to leave the brand at the end 2003 to pursue new international challenges within the sport, through his own marketing and management company. At the iSQUASHmarketing launch, Walters announced: "Squash is one of the most exciting participation sports in the World and deserves a higher profile and greater share of media coverage. iSQUASHmarketing will fill a void in the sport by focusing 100% of its resources into the development of the game at all levels. "The diversity of iSQUASHmarketing will be a key factor in the company's success, and all business divisions will share one defining characteristic: a mission to be the best," Walters continued. "iSQUASHmarketing will be based in Warwickshire, England, and this new phase of my life and business venture will also enable me to spend more time, both socially and in a working capacity, with my partner Sarah Fitz-Gerald (the five-times World Squash Champion), and together we hope to be able to expand into the USA and Australia, which both represent exciting opportunities for the future." Walters confirmed that: "Further details and announcements are scheduled over the coming few months, outlining agreements which are currently being finalised with leading brands, players and business partners."
