RESULTS: Women's Liberty Bell Squash Open, Philadelphia, USA

Final:
[1] Samantha Teran (MEX) bt [2] Latasha Khan (USA)  9-1, 10-9, 4-9, 6-9, 9-6 (120m)

Top seed Samantha Teran survived a two-hour marathon battle with second seed Latasha Khan in the final of the Women's Liberty Bell Open to lift the WISPA World Tour squash title at Berwyn Squash & Fitness Club in Philadelphia, USA, for the second time in three years.

The Mexican favourite took a two game lead - but Khan, the former US champion celebrating her 35th birthday, made some superb kills and attacking shots to claw her way back to level the match.

At 2-3 in the decider, Khan accidentally caught Teran on the lip - causing a delay of 15 minutes to stop the bleeding.  After calming herself and regrouping, the 26-year-old from Mexico City took the game to record an impressive 9-1, 10-9, 4-9, 6-9, 9-6 victory.

The success marked Teran's eighth WISPA World Tour title success in her tenth final appearance.
