England's second seed Adrian Grant fought back from two-games-to-one down to beat local hero Shahier Razik, the No3 seed, in the final of the Comfort Inn Open to win the 3-star PSA Tour squash event at Evergreen Squash Club in Vancouver, Canada.
Razik, a known slow starter who dropped the first game in his impressive semi-final upset over top-seeded Australian Stewart Boswell, lost the opening game as Grant took control of the early exchanges.
But the 30-year-old from Toronto struck back and took the next two games to move ahead of his opponent, ranked three places higher in the world.
However, Grant rediscovered his earlier touch and claimed the next two games for the loss of only three points to win 11-7, 4-11, 9-11, 11-2, 11-1 in 88 minutes.
The triumph marks the left-hander from London's 14th career PSA Tour title.
