NEWS RESULTS: Prince Canary Islands Open Squash Championship, Tenerife Final: [1] Alex Gough (WAL) bt [2] Adrian Grant (ENG) 15-11, 13-15, 6-15, 15-7, 15-12 Gough Denies Grant Triple Tenerife Triumph Top-seeded Welshman Alex Gough denied second seed Adrian Grant his third PSA Tour title in Tenerife when he beat the Englishman in a five-game thriller in the final of the Prince Canary Islands Open Squash Championship. Grant, from Halifax in Yorkshire, forged a 2/1 lead - but the tenacious Welshman regained control of the match to draw level. Gough, the Newport-born world No20 from Crowthorne in Berkshire, maintained his focus to secure a 15-11 13-15 6-15 15-7 15-12 triumph and claim his first PSA title for almost three years.
