France's Gregoire Marche and England's Kimberley Hay claimed their maiden European Squash Federation Junior Circuit titles in Malmo, Sweden, after winning the men's and women's U19 trophies, respectively, in the Nordic Junior Open Championships.
Marche went one better than the runners-up berth he secured in the Pioneer Junior U19 Open in Germany in July when he overcame Finland's Henrik Mustonen in a marathon men's final.
The 17-year-old from Aix-en-Provence twice had leads quashed by the Finn before winning 9-6, 1-9, 9-5, 7-9, 9-1.
Kimberley Hay became one of the youngest ever winners of the women's titles after upsetting Natalie Pritchard, the top seed from Wales, in the final.
In her first ever European junior final, the 15-year-old from Newcastle-upon-Tyne recovered from a game down to beat the favourite 3-9, 9-1, 9-5, 9-7.
