SquashMedia.org GERRARD BRITISH U23 SUPER 8 SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS BOASTS WORLD-CLASS FIELD Organisers of the inaugural Gerrard British U23 Super 8 Squash Championships, to be held at Pontefract Squash Club in Yorkshire, England, from the 20th to 23rd November, have announced that the innovative new event on the domestic professional calendar has attracted a world-class field. England's World No20 Nick Matthew, from Sheffield, will lead the high quality British U23 Championship field, which will also include World Junior Champion James Willstrop, World No22 Adrian Grant, World Junior Championship runner-up Peter Barker, Scotland's U23 No1 Stuart Crawford, Welshman Rob Sutherland, Christopher Gordon from Yorkshire & former England Junior International Philip Barker. The U23 Championship will feature two pools of four players who will play each other, leading to finals which will produce a 1-8 finish. The event will also be supported by British Super 8 junior events at U13, U15, U17 and U19 - featuring the eight highest-ranked men and women in each age-group and endorsed by England Squash.
