Pakistan's top woman squash player Maria Toor Pakay missed out on making her maiden appearance in a WISPA World Tour final after losing a five-game semi-final thriller in the POF WISPA Wah Cantt Open at the Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in the Punjab city of Wah Cantt in Pakistan.

The 16-year-old left-hander from Peshawar, who won her first national title this year, took the opening two games against No2 seed Lim Yoke Wah.  But the Malaysian soon regained the upper hand and closed out the match 8-10, 3-9, 9-5, 9-3, 9-2 in 48 minutes.

The third staging of the Tour event will climax in its second successive all-Malaysian final when Lim Yoke Wah faces favourite Delia Arnold.

The 21-year-old from Kuala Lumpur, who finished as runner-up last year, beat fourth-seeded compatriot Siti Munirah Jusoh 10-8, 9-4, 9-6 in the other semi-final.
