Canadian teenager Jackie Moss claimed a significant upset in her maiden appearance in a WISPA World Tour event when she beat eighth seed Milou van der Heijden in the first round of the Women's Royal Glenora Club Squash Open to claim an unlikely quarter-final place in this new Tour event in Edmonton, Canada.
The 17-year-old from Calgary swept to a 9-2, 9-2, 9-6 victory over her Dutch opponent to line up a clash with compatriot Runa Reta, the No2 seed.
Reta, the world No32 from Ottawa who defeated Canadian qualifier Kyla Grigg 9-0, 9-3, 9-6, is expected to meet top-seeded American Latasha Khan in Monday's final.
