Leevey, who upset the top seed Sharon Wee in the first round, beat eighth-seeded Lengthorn 9-3 9-4 2-9 9-6 and now faces Australia's unseeded Melissa Martin in the semi-finals. The other semi-final will feature England's second seed Dominique Lloyd-Walter and seventh-seeded Pakistani Carla Khan. The Englishwoman beat compatriot Lauren Briggs 9-0 9-3 9-6 while Khan gained a walkover after the withdrawal of Mexico's Samantha Teran.
