Canadians Collapse In Club Sportif Semis

Local interest in the Club Sportif MAA Squash Invitational was wiped out in the semi-finals when Canadians Ian Power and Shawn Delierre were eliminated by foreign opposition in Montreal.

Power, the third seed, was 2/0 up when favourite Glenn Keenan rediscovered his touch.  The Australian staged a dramatic fight back to win 1-15 8-15 15-4 15-9 15-12 to reach his first PSA Tour final for more than a year.

The other semi-final saw second seed Delierre upset by sixth seed Rafael Alarcon.  The Brazilian came back from a game down to defeat Delierre 16-17 17-15 15-4 15-12 and is now just one match away from winning his second PSA title since April.
