Qualifiers Vicky Hynes and Kylie Lindsay crashed into the quarter-finals of the Women's Creteil Open International Squash Championship after impressive upsets over seeded opponents in the inaugural WISPA World Tour event at Centre Marie Therese Eyquem in Creteil, France.

Lindsay came through her first opening round Tour match for almost three years when she defeated England's sixth seed Kirsty McPhee 3-9, 9-7, 9-4, 10-9 in 46 minutes.  The 23-year-old from Matamata now meets top-seeded Italian Manuela Manetta for a place in the last four.

Vicky Hynes, playing in her first overseas WISPA event for more than two years after taking time off to have her first child, despatched the Creteil club-based No7 seed Soraya Renai 9-4, 9-7, 9-2 in just 25 minutes.

The 25-year-old from Birmingham - who won her only WISPA Tour title in France, at the Carcassonne City Open in May 2001 - will now face Ireland's No3 seed Aisling Blake.
