RESULTS:        Bluenose Squash Classic, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Final:
[3] Shahier Razik (CAN) bt [1] Borja Golan (ESP)                       5-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-5, 11-6 (121m)

Organisers of the Bluenose Squash Classic celebrated their second domestic Canadian success in two years when third seed Shahier Razik lifted the PSA Tour title at St Mary's University Tower in Halifax, Nova Scotia, after a marathon final battle against Spanish favourite Borja Golan.

Razik, 29, from Toronto, is no stranger to marathon victories on the PSA Tour.  Of last year's six recorded Tour matches which extended beyond two hours, Razik participated in two - winning a 131-minute clash in the Baltimore City Open in December and prevailing over Joey Barrington in the Houston Open in July in 140 minutes!

In Halifax, Razik twice came from behind before triumphing 5-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-5, 11-6 over Golan in 121 minutes to record the 15th PSA Tour title of his career - and his second this year.
