RESULTS:        Bluenose Squash Classic, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Semi-finals:
[1] Borja Golan (ESP) bt [4] Bradley Ball (ENG)                         11-7, 11-7, 11-1 (47m)
[3] Shahier Razik (CAN) bt [2] Graham Ryding (CAN)                 11-10 (10-8), 6-11, 11-9, 11-1 (65m)

In a repeat of last year's Canadian Nationals' semi-final - and also the Pan American Games final in 2003 - third seed Shahier Razik upset second seed Graham Ryding in a 65-minute marathon semi-final of the Bluenose Squash Classic to reach the final of the PSA Tour event at St Mary's University Tower in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Toronto twosome have met domestically and internationally at least 10 times over the past four years - with Razik prevailing in all but two of the clashes.

The first game in Halifax stretched for 38 points before underdog Razik pulled the required 'two clear' to take an early lead.  But Ryding claimed the second to draw level.

After Razik survived a close third game, the Cairo-born 29-year-old snapped up the fourth to claim an 11-10 (10-8), 6-11, 11-9, 11-1 victory - and a place in his 22nd PSA Tour final, and his second this year.

The other semi was a more straightforward affair, with Spain's top seed Borja Golan beating England's No4 seed Bradley Ball 11-7, 11-7, 11-1 in 47 minutes to reach the 16th Tour final of his career.
