Canadian number one Graham Ryding and Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema will meet in the final of the ADL Optical/Rodenstock Manitoba Open Squash Championship after contrasting semi-final victories in the PSA Tour event at the Winnipeg SRC in the west Canadian city of Winnipeg.
Top seed Ryding, the 31-year-old world No22 from Toronto, defeated Edmonton-based compatriot Matthew Giuffre, the No4 seed, 11-8, 11-7, 11-7 in 42 minutes to reach the 17th PSA Tour final of his career.
Anjema, the second seed from The Hague, faced another Canadian - defending champion Shahier Razik, the third seed from Toronto.
The pair battled for 75 minutes before 24-year-old Anjema prevailed 11-4, 7-11, 11-10 (3-1), 11-4 to reach his 13th Tour final.
Neither finalist has won a PSA Tour title in almost two years - and only two ranking positions separate the pair.
