The 22-year-old from Stuttgart needed 83 minutes to overpower Australia's No2 seed Bradley Hindle 11-9, 11-5, 10-11 (2-4), 11-8 in the semi-finals to become the first German to reach a PSA Tour final for more than three years.
In the other semi-final at the SquashClub Stare Kino in Krakow, England's fifth seed Jonathan Harford was unable to maintain the momentum which saw him win last week's Leinster Open in Ireland.
The 23-year-old from Gloucestershire went down 11-6, 11-0, 11-7 in 31 minutes to top seed Omar Abdel Aziz.
The success marks the 23-year-old from Cairo's fifth appearance in a PSA Tour final this year.
