Le Roux, 19, from Castleford in Yorkshire, progressed to reach his first PSA Tour final after knocking out second seed Romain Tenant in the first round.
But 29-year-old Fiteni was too strong in the final, beating le Roux 11-5, 11-6, 11-4 to win third PSA title since 1996 – but his first under the Maltese flag!
