In a relatively-unchanged new August Dunlop PSA Men's World Squash Rankings, published today (Tuesday) by the Professional Squash Association, Egypt's Amr Shabana retains his status as world number one for the fifth successive month.

The 27-year-old world champion from Cairo maintains his lead ahead of Australian David Palmer, at No2, and Frenchman Thierry Lincou at No3.

England's James Willstrop leapfrogs Anthony Ricketts to move into fourth place, while the Australian slips to No5.

Finland's Olli Tuominen also rises in the new list – overtaking Australia's Stewart Boswell to move into 14th place.

Australian Cameron Pilley becomes the only player in the top thirty to record a career-high ranking:  the UK-based 23-year-old from New South Wales, who last week celebrated his 15th PSA Tour final appearance by reaching the climax of the CIMB Malaysian Open, moves up to No 23.
