Koukal On Course For Sixth Prague Title
Jan Koukal is on course to win his sixth successive PSA Tour title in his home town after reaching the final of the Hi-Tec & Dunlop Prague Open Squash Championship in the Czech Republic capital of Prague.
But the Czech number one, who is the top seed, had to battle hard to overcome Germany's unseeded Patrick Gaessler 3-11, 11-6, 11-10 (2-0), 2-11, 11-9 in the semi-finals at the Squashcentrum Strahov.
In his ninth PSA final, the 22-year-old will now face Scott Arnold, after the fourth seed from Australia ended English qualifier Jonathan Harford's brave run in the other semi-final, winning 11-7, 11-8, 8-11, 11-3.
Arnold, 20, from Sydney, is celebrating his second appearance in a PSA final since making his debut on the pro circuit at the end of 2004.
