Aziz Claims Clod Glory In Milan
Sweden's top seed Badr Abdel Aziz claimed the Clod Squash Open title in Italy as expected – but not before fighting back from 2/1 down in the final of the new PSA Tour event at the Sporting Club in Milan.
After surviving a tie-break first game, the 25-year-old from Stockholm fell behind in the next two as Germany's Andre Haschker looked on course to secure his second successive upset in the event after despatching local favourite Luca Mastrostefano, the No2 seed, in the semis.
But Badr battled on and won the match 11-10 (2-0), 7-11, 2-11, 11-9, 11-6 in 85 minutes to claim his third PSA Tour title since November.
