Barker Retains ACT Title In Australia
England's Phillip Barker retained his title in the ACT Squash International after beating Egypt's Amr Mansi in the final of the PSA Tour event in Canberra, Australia.
Top seed Barker, from Upminster in Essex, reached the final without dropping a game - while Mansi, the sixth seed, came through a marathon semi-final when he upset second seed Tim Manning 11-10 11-9 2-11 5-11 11-9.
The Egyptian, however, was unable to go the full distance in the final, bowing out with an injury midway through the third game to give Barker the title after an 11-4 11-3 6-1 (ret) scoreline.
