Runa Rules In Calgary
After becoming the only one of the top four seeds to make into the semi-finals, favourite Runa Reta pressed home her advantage to win the Women's Airdrie Chrysler Calgary Open title in Calgary in Canada.
In an all-Canadian final, the 24-year-old from Ottawa recovered from a game down to beat qualifier Carolyn Russell 5-9 9-2 9-1 9-0 to win the second WISPA World Tour title of her career – and her second in only two months.
