Boswell & Kenny Line Up Shock Berkshire Open Semi-Final

Australia's unseeded Stewart Boswell and Ireland's seventh seed Liam Kenny will meet in a surprise Berkshire Open Squash Championship semi-final after pulling off contrasting upsets in the quarter-finals at Williams College in Williamstown, USA.

Boswell, the former world No4 who is enjoying a successful comeback run after a mystery back ailment which ruled him out for more than a year, battled for five games to beat third-seeded Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema 9-11 11-5 8-11 11-2 11-8.

Kenny had a more straightforward win, beating Australia's second seed Dan Jenson 11-9 11-5 11-5.

Straight games victories set up the other semi-final when Canadian favourite Graham Ryding beat compatriot Matthew Giuffre 11-6 11-6 11-2 and Australian Cameron Pilley, the fourth seed, defeated US National champion Julian Illingworth, a qualifier, 11-4 11-4 11-4.
