Top Seeds To Contest Wah Cantt Final

The top two seeds will contest the final of the Women's POF Wah Cantt Open in Pakistan – but home favourite Carla Khan and Malaysia's second seed Sharon Wee won through their semi-finals today (Thursday) in contrasting styles at the Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Wah Cantt, near Islamabad.

In her third successive straight games win in the event, Khan brushed aside eighth-seeded Malaysian Delia Arnold 9-3 9-1 9-5 in just 22 minutes to reach her fourth WISPA World Tour final.

Wee was forced to come from behind twice, and needed 59 minutes to topple fellow countrywoman Tricia Chuah, the fifth seed, 7-9 9-3 5-9 9-7 9-5.   The marathon victory marks Wee's eighth appearance in a WISPA final.
