Pilley Dashes Local Hopes In Winnipeg

Australia's Cameron Pilley, the number two seed, dashed hopes of local success in the ADL Optical/Rodenstock Manitoba Open Squash Championship in Winnipeg when he defeated Canada's fourth seed Matthew Giuffre in the final of the PSA Tour event.

Pilley, 22, from New South Wales, defeated the 22-year-old from Edmonton 11-5 11-9 9-11 11-6 in 70 minutes to claim the eighth - and biggest - PSA Tour title of his career.
