Harms, the Basel-born 27-year-old who lives in Sins, beat the Toronto-based title-holder 3-11 11-9 11-9 10-11 11-10 and will now face another Canadian in a bid to reach the semi-finals. Qualifier Ian Power, from Montreal, also pulled off a significant upset when he beat Bermuda's eighth seed Nicholas Kyme 11-10 11-8 11-7 in 70 minutes. |
