WORLD SQUASH NEWS Nicol David Bursts Into Contention For WISPA Grand Prix Finals While the top four places in the Qatar Airways Grand Prix points standing are unchanged, the fight for lower places in the top eight who will compete in the WISPA Grand Prix Finals next year has really heated up even before the last two major events. Nicol David's victories over Rachael Grinham and Natalie Grainger on the way to the final of the Shanghai WorldStars in China last week have seen the Malaysian leap from ten to five in the standings. Although Grainger went out in the quarters, her comeback so far has seen her rise to the edge of the top eight. With elevated points being available for both the Qatar Classic and KL World Open in the next few weeks, the final shakedown is well under way.
