Korean Star In Second WISPA Tour Bid

Korea's Lee Hai-Kyung, who in her debut WISPA World Tour appearance last week reached the final of the Calgary Open, secured her second successive chance to gain world ranking points in Canada when she qualified for the Women's Ottawa Squash International.

The 29-year-old from Seoul fought from two games down to beat Hong Kong's Elise Ng 7-9 7-9 9-4 9-1 9-2 in 48 minutes in the qualifying finals at the Goodlife Fitness Club in Ottawa - and now meets Australia's fifth seed Heidi Mather in the first round.

The seedings predict an all-English final in the fourth Ottawa International, between favourite Rebecca Macree and No2 seed Stephanie Brind.  Macree's anticipated semi-final opponent would be third seed Melissa Martin, the Australian who was runner-up in the event twelve months ago.
