In her last event before competing in the Harris British Open in Nottingham later in the month, the top seed from Norfolk takes on compatriot Rebecca Botwright in the Monte Carlo first round. The former world champion is expected to meet England team-mate Fiona Geaves, the No2 seed, in the final on Saturday. Geaves, the world No7 from Gloucester, takes on Spanish qualifier Olga Puigdemont Sola in the first round. Sola defeated England's Jenna Gates 9-4 9-7 9-2 in the qualifying finals.
