Hafiz Wins Barcelona Bonanza

Egypt's Mohamed Essam A Hafiz picked up his third PSA Tour title in four months when he beat France's Stephane Galifi in the final of the Ciutat de Barcelona Squash Open in Barcelona.

The 27-year-old from Cairo was taken to a tie-break in the first game by the rejuvenated Frenchman - but the score reached 16-14 before Hafiz claimed the early one-love advantage.

Galifi maintained the pressure over the next two games - but it was only after the match had entered the second hour of playing time that the Egyptian was able to claim his hat-trick of 2004 titles with an 11-10 11-7 11-7 victory over his Rouen-based opponent in 65 minutes.
