Nanda & Grinham Take Queensland Titles

Australians Raj Nanda and Natalie Grinham claimed the trophies in the Queensland Open Squash Championships after straight games wins in today's (Sunday) finals in Rockhampton, Australia.

Nanda, 25, from Brisbane, reached the final without dropping a game, then beat compatriot Aaron Frankcomb 15-7 15-8 15-12 to claim the second title of his PSA Tour career.

Natalie Grinham's victory crowned a successful visit to her homeland from her base in the Netherlands.  Winner of the Australian Open title at the beginning of the month, the 26-year-old from Toowoomba conceded just 14 points on her way to the final, then crushed fellow Australian Heidi Mather 9-3 9-4 9-0.

It was Mather's third successive appearance in the final - and the success marked Grinham's fifth WISPA World Tour title.
