Nanda, 25, from Brisbane, reached the final without dropping a game, then beat compatriot Aaron Frankcomb 15-7 15-8 15-12 to claim the second title of his PSA Tour career. Natalie Grinham's victory crowned a successful visit to her homeland from her base in the Netherlands. Winner of the Australian Open title at the beginning of the month, the 26-year-old from Toowoomba conceded just 14 points on her way to the final, then crushed fellow Australian Heidi Mather 9-3 9-4 9-0. It was Mather's third successive appearance in the final - and the success marked Grinham's fifth WISPA World Tour title. |
