WSF Launches New Jahangir Khan Racket With e-squash

The World Squash Federation (WSF) has finalised an agreement with e-squash™ to launch a new racket endorsed by record ten-times British Open champion Jahangir Khan, the Federation's President.

All profits made from sales of the e-squash™ JAHANGIR KHAN racket will go to the World Squash Federation's development fund - and a special launch promotion, to be announced in the coming months, will reflect Khan's desire, as President of the WSF, to keep Squash participation growing worldwide.

While Jahangir Khan began his rise to fame in the 'wooden racket' era, he has kept abreast with the new technology and his expert knowledge of the needs of a squash player are reflected in the design of this new racket.

"A player's racket is the most important part of his equipment and can make the difference between winning and losing a match," said the squash legend.  "Not every player can be a World Champion, but every player can use a racket created by a World Champion to meet the needs of our wonderful sport," Jahangir explained.

e-squash™ brand manager Peter Monkhouse, added:  "We are proud that the World Squash Federation and Jahangir Khan have chosen e-squash as their new racket partner.  A key component of the agreement is that all profits made from sales of the e-squash™ JAHANGIR KHAN racket will be re-distributed back to the WSF in order that they can increase their investment in the development of the game.

"We are confident that together we can help grow participation in developing countries as well as traditional markets such as the UK," Monkhouse concluded.

In January, e-squash™ announced the signing of the game's brightest young star, World Junior Champion James Willstrop, and the latest announcement further strengthens the brand's claims to challenge the old-guard of established companies.

The e-squash™ Jahangir Khan racket will be the Official Racket of the World Squash Federation and will be available in time for the British Open in November on both the www.squashdiscount.com and www.worldsquash.org websites.
