WORLD SQUASH NEWS Rachael Grinham Moves Up To Top Grand Prix Standings Victory over England's world No1 Cassie Jackman in last week's final of the Texas Open in Houston takes Australia's Rachael Grinham to the top of the Qatar Airways WISPA World Grand Prix standings, published today (Thursday) by the Women's International Squash Players' Association. The Texas Open was the third WISPA Grand Prix event of this year, with Grinham claiming her second title after lifting the Kuwait Open crown in January. Jackman, runner-up in all three events, slips to two in the latest list with Vanessa Atkinson holding onto third place. The Dutch No1 claimed her first WISPA Grand Prix title in February with victory in the Qatar Airways Challenge in Doha. Whilst results from the Texas Open have changed the order of the top eight, but not the names themselves, the group behind is closing in as players seek one of the eight places in next year's Qatar Airways Grand Prix Finals. England's Vicky Botwright and Scotland's Pamela Nimmo strengthened their bids with rises in the list to 11 and 15, respectively, after unexpected quarter-final berths in Houston.
