Berg, the 26-year-old top seed, beat compatriot David Phillips, the fourth seed, 15-9 15-9 15-10 to reach his fifth PSA Tour final. The favourite had reached the last four after fighting back from 0/2 down in the quarter-finals to beat Hungarian Mark Krajcsak. "It was the best match of the tournament to date," said the club's Head Squash & Tennis Professional Ken Flynn of the Berg/Krajcsak clash. "It was by far the most thrilling and exciting, with dynamic retrieving and great shot execution for five games. These two players were a joy to watch and very sportsmanlike for the whole match." In the other semi-final, 21-year-old second seed De Lierre ended Australian qualifier Michael Joint's run - winning 15-13 15-9 15-8 to reach the first PSA final of his career.
