Latasha Khan - the indefatigable 36-year-old US squash star who played more events on the WISPA World Tour last year than any other player in the world top 30 – added the latest title to her collection when she lifted the Women's Racquet Club International trophy at the Racquet Club in St Louis, USA.
After competing in 16 events in 2008, the seven-time US champion from Seattle began her fifth event of 2009 - her 18th year on the Tour - as top seed. Khan conquered Canada's fourth seed Miranda Ranieri in four games in the semi-finals before facing 23-year-old English opponent Georgina Stoker in the final.
After a close-fought first game, it was plain sailing for the favourite as world No33 Khan defeated second seed Stoker 12-10, 11-3, 11-5 to win the third WISPA Tour title of her career.
