RESULTS:    Berkshire Squash Open, Williamstown, MA, USA

Final:
[2] Jonathan Kemp (ENG) bt [1] Omar Mosaad (EGY) 11-7, 3-11, 11-5, 11-2

England's Jonathan Kemp comfortably captured his seventh PSA World Tour squash title when he toppled top seed Omar Mosaad, of Egypt, in the final of the Berkshire Open at Williams College in Williamstown in the USA.

The 28-year-old second seed took control of the match early in the third game and cruised to an 11-7, 3-11, 11-5, 11-2 victory to take the $20,000 Tour title.

The triumph crowned a sensational six-week North American run by the world number 32 from Halifax in Yorkshire who won the Manitoba Open in Canada last month – also as second seed – before finishing as runner-up in the Pacific Athletic Club Open in California.

"I wasn't nervous at all out there today," said left-hander Kemp.  "I'm not sure what happened with Omar [in the last two games] but I don't think it was physical.  I've had the same thing happen to me before."

Mosaad, a 21-year-old from Cairo, was gracious in defeat:  "I played tough matches in this tournament and maybe that's why it came out this way today."

Kemp's impressive Tour record now stands at seven wins out of nine final appearances.
