Egypt's Yasser El Halaby defeated a second Salazar twin in 24 hours when he beat fifth seed Arturo Salazar in the quarter-finals of the Baltimore Squash Cup at the Baltimore Country Club in Baltimore, USA.

It was in the first round of the $10,000 PSA Tour event in Maryland that the 24-year-old from Cairo beat unseeded Cesar Salazar to earn his clash with brother Arturo.  And it again took El Halaby four games to beat the 20-year-old from San Luis Potosi 12-10, 9-11, 11-4, 11-1.

El Halaby will now face number two seed Eric Galvez after the Mexican beat South American rival Bernardo Samper, the sixth seed from Colombia, 11-7, 11-8, 11-2.

The other semi-final will be an all-Canadian affair between top seed Shahier Razik and fourth seed Shawn Delierre.

Semi-final line-up:
[1] Shahier Razik (CAN) v [4] Shawn Delierre (CAN)
[2] Eric Galvez (MEX) v [3] Yasser El Halaby (EGY)
