SQUASH NEWS RESULTS: EBS Asset Management Dayton Squash Open, Ohio, USA Final: [1] Karim Darwish (EGY) bt Mohammed Abbas (EGY) 15-12, 15-5, 15-12 Darwish Scores Second Title In Dayton Top seed Karim Darwish picked up his second PSA Tour title in five days in the USA when he beat fellow Egyptian Mohammed Abbas in straight games in the final of the $40,000 EBS Asset Management Dayton Squash Open in Ohio. Darwish, the 22-year-old former world junior champion from Cairo, started strongly and although Abbas matched his compatriot through the game, the favourite regularly forced him into errors. Darwish dominated the second game and maintained the pressure in the third to end up a 15-12 15-5 15-12 winner. |
