The biggest national survey ever undertaken in Squash and Racketball has been launched by England Squash to help shape the future of both racket sports in England.

The English governing body is seeking feedback from a wide range of interested parties in the sports - from players and coaches to supporters, administrators, clubs, facilities, volunteers, referees and others.

"England Squash is committed to promoting and serving both the Squash and Racketball communities - and to help us achieve this, we have put together this online survey to ask everyone in the sports for their views," said England Squash Sales and Marketing Manager Paul Lynch.

"There are over 500,000 people playing Squash & Racketball once a month, according to Ipsos MORI, and we would like to know how we can improve people’s experiences of Squash & Racketball - what new activities that they would like to see and what people value in their relationship with England Squash, so that we can continue to grow both sports.”

The comprehensive survey covers details of playing habits, including how long, how often, and the kind of facilities used; interests in following the sports, including media resources and attendance at elite events; membership benefits of England Squash, etc.

As an incentive, England Squash is offering survey participants the chance of winning a host of prizes, for both individuals and their clubs/facilities - including VIP Tickets, coaching sessions from some of the greats in the game, rackets, apparel, balls, etc.

"Since the survey first went live, we have had a great response that has exceeded our expectations," added Lynch.  "But, in order to maximise the benefits of this important project, we would like to get as many responses as possible."
